SOLVED Acronym Particles will not go to background

I can not get the "Particles" to display as the background as in the Acronym Demo. mine are limited to the section under "Hederlicous" regardless of selecting Section Only: Disabled.
Any help would be greatly appretiated.

first, try flushing the Gantry cache from the Extras menu as well as all the Joomla cache, then double check the Outline you're working on and ensure it's assigned to the Home page there.
lots of stuff at docs.gantry.org ~ definitely recommend the first 3 chapters to anyone new to G5 -

Cleared Gantry cache and Joomla cache. Unfortunately no change.
Been using Rckettheme templates with no issue since before they even used Gantry. It has been a treat since it was adopted. Really like the Gantry 5.
This was a fresh install of Joomla using CPanel. After setup Installed Gantry 5 then Acronym Template. Chose to install Demo content.
Using php 7.1
Never had an issue replicating the Demo content on any templates before now.

- Ok, try reverting to Gantry 5.4.14 for now and it should work (seems to be Gantry issue)
