    • If anyone else reads this I started by converting my fonts here: www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator

      I then saw the error:
      downloadable font: OS/2: Bad sxHeight settig it to 0: -1 (font-family: "alte_din_1451_mittelschriftRg" style:normal weight:400 stretch:100 src index:0) source: https://www.xxxxxxxx.co.uk/templates/g5_hydrogen/custom/fonts/din-alte/din1451alt-webfont.woff2

      I couldn't find any information on Google relating to this error so I started a thread on Stack Overflow here:
