I used rocketlancher to set up an instal.. Then I edited the config file to allow a multisite installation.. Problem is when I try and switch to one of the subdomain sites it gives me a dns error and I can't access the subdomain backend.. I am using this domains as a sandbox before I do a real installation ...

The problem seems to be integrated in RocketLauncher .. I've doen manual installations and gotten multisite to work... For some reason when you use rocketlauncher it creates a whole bunch of errors..
The problem with doing a manual instal is that I have to spend an egregious amount of time recreating the demo ... Since I am relatively new to Gantry 5 it is exascerbating the whole process..
I would prefer to use rocketlauncher instead.. I know there is very likely a fix..

You would need to provide us with cPanel / FTP details so we can take a closer look. But internal server errors or forbidden errors as seen here sound like hosting issues:

I have the same set up on ArtistSeries.com with 40+ subdomains set up.. I did it just as a test.. The only difference is I did a manual instal of WP instead of rocket launcher ... The subdomains and the domain mapping all work great.. I can switch fluidly between any subdomain or mapped domain without any problems..
