I love this template Andy... Great work!

I'm still trying to figure out the SMF integration piece. I'm new to SMF so I'm going through the theme tutorial before making an attempt at your works of magic on the jamboworks/smf integration.

    • Nothing against you David but I always grin when Joomla! is used to promote Microsoft Service Providers. :)
      Site looks good!

Is the PHP Live a component you rigged up or a standalone app?

    • Hey Joseph,

No offense taken. Thanks for the comments...

About the MS thing: I know. Believe me it makes me laugh too. I actually was interviewed and will be featured in Redmond Magazine's "Your Turn" column discussing why I use Apache over IIS. I'll probably get a chair flung at me by Stevie B ;D

I am a very big open source proponent. I will be addingopen source content soon (leaving the Joomla tag was just the start) I'm just putting some materials together for the section and will get the content published.

The PHP Live software is from OSI Codes ( www.phplivesupport.com ). I just added the PHP script to a module and published it.

    • david,

how did you get the mainmenu items to be leftmenu subitems? I am pulling my hair out. I started down the same path as you, using this template for the samething.

I am trying to have static pages for Solutions , Articles, Company and contact us stuff. On solutions menu item I want the side menu to show (much like you did) the options under that albeit the solutions we provide. Are you using categories and sections or static content only?

      Thanks in advance...

    • The top level items are blog sections and the sub items are content items belonging to a category.

So for the Services section I have an Application Hosting category under which I have a Application Hosting content item. Currently the Application Hosting content item is just a general explanation. However, because I also have an Application Hosting category, I have the ability to have multiple content items related to Application Hosting. I do this for scalability.

      I hope this helps...

      David
