Thanks for the list. Gives my something to learn and look for.
I also want to recommand VoodooPad.
Use it on a daily base.
You can drop anything in it, in the way you want it.
And Gus is a really very nice guy!
Always helpful and very quick to answer
your questions in a personal way.
Piece of Essential Mac software to me.
For Windows users there is a similar program called WikidPad.
But I have no experience with that program.

I'm going to throw into the ring, SketchUp by At Last Software. It's commercial and not necessarily cheap (depending on your POV), but it is a stunning value from mine.
One ought not be allowed to have this much fun on a computer. ;D

- Was just playing with the demo, quite fun. You know of anyway to manipulate cylinders? Was thinking of trying to make a version of the rocket logo with this but doesn't seem to handle round objects, only polygon based stuff.

It's not really a NURBS modeller in the classic sense, but there is a way to do it. Give me a day or two and I'll see what I can do. Actually... is there a vector version of the logo art you can send me?

My list looks similar.
I use
DEVONthink instead of VoodoPad (a lot more expensive but it's a heavy duty data storage app)
Yummy FTP instead of Transmit (don't like the interface as well but it's noticibly faster)
Never could make the transition from BBEdit to Textmate. It looks great but there are too many years of use hardwired into my fingers. Maybe BareBones will get worried and roll the text collapse into the next version. That would be cool.
Omnigraffle is only free for Powerbook users.
Have you tried Curio? It's an amazing visual project planning/asset management tool.
iBiz keeps track of my project hours and billing.
Oh, and Ecto the best desktop blogging tool around.
Don't forget the new Garageband. It really does make podcasting a piece of cake.

- I tried Yummy a while back and went back to Transmit. Can't remember now what that reason was. Anyway, giving Yummy a second chance and liking it so far. I think you are right, it is faster.

DEVONThink is a class in itself.
Indeed other stuff then VoodooPad
I would vote also for anything from DEVON Technologies.
DEVONAgent can find things for me that Google wo'nt.
