Ability to interchange module extensions between templates

- is it possible to use a module from one template in another template? For example, if template A has the rokSlide extension, but template B does not - can I use rokSlide with template B? How do I know which templates an extension is compatible with? Thanks.

Most of them are compatible with most templates (that's my 99.9% guarantee in case there's some that aren't...
)
Basically, just search the forum for posts like "Rokcontent rotator in hyperion" and follow the instructions. Some will be simpler than others. A lot of those posts have replies where people with other templates asked, "How can I do this with mine?..." and template specific tweaks can be made.
Try starting under the template you want the module for, and go to it's tutorial forum section. - When solved, please modify your original post and add (SOLVED) into the subject AND change your icon to the green check. This helps people know they can find a solution in your post if they have the same problem.

As Maria mentioned, 'most' are compatible.
There's a list here for the ones that are 'simple' to use from one template to the next.

Others are a bit more complicated, for example RokMiniNews.
Not impossible, but take a bit of skill and editing to get them working for your template.
Again, a Maria suggested, look in the tutorial section of the template you want to move a component from and see if there's instructions for moving to another.
Others 'can't be done' because that are not 'components' per say and are for the most part hard coded into the template, e.g., the Parallax feature of Vertigo. - Thanks,
