thanks for the info. so you seem to be having issues with permissions.
please check in your joomla admin > site > system information > directory permissions...
all need to be writable. if they are not, please contact your host to fix this for you or fix it yourself through ftp.
you can also try 'akeeba admin tools' extension to easily change permissions.
