    SOLVED Article intro image layout

Posted 9 years 8 months ago
    • Hi!
I have a problem with my site articles intro images.

I have a page in Category blog layout with two columns.

In Chrome adn Safari, all works good.
In Firefox and Internet Explorer it seems that it take the original size of the images instead of adapt the with to the column size.

      Whay this issue happen?
I can solve this problem adding a "width: 100%" to the "image-intro-right img" class, but I don't know if it's correct and why with some browser i need this parameter and in others no.

The problem can be seen here:

      thank you!

      Geppo!

    • You are using v1.2 of anacron. Please backup and then uypdate to latest v1.4.

Make sure that all RT products are up-to-date (backup before updating anything), clear server and browser cache after you have updated.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Sorry my mistake I saw you subscription was for anacron only and then saw you had anacron installed. Ok you're using afterburner2 v1.3 - so please update to v1.4.

      Regards, Mark.

    • It's because you are floating the image content so the image is not constrained by it's container. instead of "right" or "left" for the image positioning choose "none" instead.

    • But shouldn't it floating inside the container like it does in the article?

    • And why on chrome this doesn't happen? Is Chrome or Firefox that is doing the right thing?

    • I see you have now done as I suggested and it is now working consistently. As to which browser is correct is a bit of a moot point - in theory all browsers are supposed to conform to W3C but in reality they all have differences, chrome will argue they are correct and so would firefox.
