what the heck with RokNavMenu !?

Posted 13 years 9 months ago
    • hello,
I'm countering endless problems with this module. I have the latest version of everything (J1.7) . I'm using Panacea Template with RTL Support enabled, here's the problems :

      1. when using this module in the header, by assigning it from the Menu tab in Panacea Template Manager, everything is ok except the submenu slides. it's not animated in IE 8! FireFox is ok.
this problem is solved in IE when I disable RTL Support, but I don't want to disable it. another problem is the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the browser (all browsers) - the theme I'm using is gantry-fusion.

      2. when I create a new instance of this module and assigned it to a sidebar (RokNavMenu-standalone), it doesn't act like the one I used in the header from Panacea Template Manger ! it's not animated at all even with FireFox. and the submenus cannot be expanded !

      3. when I assigned a Custom CSS Class to a Menu Item from Fusion Menu Options, there's no effect ! it's like I did nothing !

the last thing, can I make RokNavMenu at the sidebar always slide horizontally ?

      here is my test-website:
      >.<

      any help is appreciated

    • hi again,

thanks for the link. i will reply to those questions where i know the answers, also asked the other moderators for help again.

      2. it is not possible to have a 2nd fusionmenu in the sidebar position, not RTL and not LTR.
the fusionmenu is only supported in the horizontal position, configured through the template itself.

    • hi again,

      1. the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom is something i can not replicate on my own install as you can see in the screenshot. i believe it is caused by your menu in the sidebar, which can not be a fusionmenu as i mentioned before. if you use a normal mod_mainmenu or a mod_roknavmenu as splitmenu the scrollbar will most likely be gone.
