Why scss

    • Hello,

I was looing for a quick explination of scss vs css, I usually have a custom.css file that I edit in Dreamwaver as the dreamweaver interface pretty much writes my css code for me, just easy work flow for me.

My issue with the scss is that dreamwaver does reconize it as css and does not let me populate css code onit.

I was wondering if I am going about css changes the wrong way and/or if there is something out there to provide dreamwaver css write fuctions on scss.

      Thank you.

    • You have some options:

      1) a custom.css file can be used in place of a custom.scss file but .scss is preferred

      2) SCSS understands CSS totally so you can still write it out in DreamWeaver and then copy & paste that output directly in the Template Manager -> Templates -> editing window
