nice use of template for the content of the site.
Maybe an image with low opacisity of the church in the top right with the qoute.
or
lose the texture make that a gradient or nothing.... and a soft cloud scape in top(make sure it doesn't look like its repeating)

Rudolph- yeah, we are looking for something to go with the top banner. We did try a church photo, but it just didn't look right.

i don like the slider with that mask pixelated think is a swf? maybe it will be a question of repaint the mask in flash and reexport the swf, maybe if you work on that you can soft that part of the page.
use the moduleimage menu and the googlemap menu in the front page.... ok thats all ill put the modules here
