ok, something weird going on. I think a last minute change has caused some cross pollination of joomla 1.5 version to 1.6. Will look into it further

i'm a little confused too... (first steps in Joomla 1.6 development)

the data is correct and these are my settings in MC, but the interface show's like this: (attachment 1)
i deleted the param.ini but no change - where is the data loaded?

@Andy: Please delete your rtparameter.php.zip on page 2 - its your code, not the working fix and i think it confuses the other readers...
EDIT:
Sorry for the Postcount, but i like your work and MC...
under rt_missioncontrol_j16/css there is a file called color-vars.php, the colors are Hard-coded in this file and there is no functionality to retrieve the color from the database

- I think i have the bits all fixed now. My rtparameter.php is not quite the same as yours, but should fix the issue just the same. Also I have another fix for logoupload.php that fixes that also, but again, not quite the same as yours. Also I have another fix that removes the extra params.ini and also fixes the colors.php so that they are saved correctly on apply/save. Building now so expect to see MC 1.6.1 shortly. Thanks for all your help!

Ok, 1.6.1 released with various fixes. You should be able to "find updates" and install via the built-in joomla updater. let me know if you continue to have issues.

- the native joomla updater didnt work, dont remember the errors exactly.. said something about archive or something.. but i just uninstalled and reinstalled freshly and it works now.. thanks for your guys help!

- Um. Maybe one more thing? I don't seem to be able to save a new Category. I can load a new category form but clicking on save or save and new or save and close doesn't do anything. No progress indicators. The only way to get out of that form is to click on the browser's back button. I can switch back to blue stork and those button work fine.
