    Enabling MissionControl effects front end menu

    Posted 11 years 3 months ago
    • When I install the Gantry 2.5 rocket launcher everything is great.

      If I then install MissionControl the front end menu stops working on the homepage, doesn't make much sense.

    • Did you update Gantry and every RT extension to the latest version?

    • What about RokNavMenu and any other RT extension you use?

    • Updating RokNavMenu did the trick, I guess gantry rocketlauncher hasn't been updated to new version.

    • Please check extension versions on our extension download place because some extensions are not updated through update manager

    • This is still happening as of the 4.1.5 rocketlauncher, except now for some reason upgrading RokNavMenu does not fix it.

      Every page except home/default shows the menu correctly.

      The only way to fix is completely uninstall missioncontrol.

    • Is there no fix for this? Would be nice to be able to use mission control.

    • Also when trying to uninstall missioncontrol to make the menu on homepage work again I get this php error disabling the site;

      PHP Fatal error: require_once() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required '/home/****/public_html/administrator/templates/rt_missioncontrol/lib/missioncontrol.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/*****/public_html/plugins/system/missioncontrol/missioncontrol.php on line 13

      I have to manually move the theme folder back to admin/templates for the uninstall to finish and let me browse site.

      This is on a new gantry 4.1.6 rocketlauncher. Missioncontrol is the only other thing installed. Missioncontrol breaks the homepage menu even if it's not enabled!

    • So if you just use the gantry bundle on a new install of joomla 2.5.9 it does not have this issue, but no idea what is in the rocketlauncher that causes the problems.

      I do still have an install from the rocketlauncher that has this issue and would like to resolve this issue without having to restore all the content to a new copy.
