Joomla login question

    • Hi All, I have a question and it could be a dumb one....

Is there some way within Joomla to create an article and have it be accessible only to a specific user? I want to create an article that is hidden from the public, but when someone registers as a user on my site, I would give them access to that particular page.

If this function isnt doable within Joomla, can anyone suggest an extension.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

    • When you create your article, there is a section on the right - Parameters - Article - where you can set the access level to, say, registered.

The same holds for creating menu-items...an access level dropdown to select who is able to access the page, per se. ;)

    • Thanks for the reply Terp :) That definitely helped.

Now, do you know of an easy and free way to add sub groups under the "registered" access level?
