SOLVED where to change the meta tag "title" in joomla 1.5 ?
Posted 17 years 1 month ago
Hello ,
this is probably the dumbest question I have ever asked on a forum but still it drives me nuts !! Never had this kind of problem before but with the new joomla there must be something I 'm missing cause I can't find where to change this title "WELCOME TO THE FRONTPAGE" ?
In the global configuration the site name is "isalayam"
on the frontpage the article title is : " welcome to isalayam "
But nothing changes I know I'm missing something but can't see what Basically I've searched every where where I could change this in the back end no luck !

Hello,
Thanks but it didn't help. I don't see how the menu could affect the Meta title. And I deleted every menu exept the main one witch I completely changed.

Individual articles have their own titles and meta info, but what happens for components such as the frontpage, which may list many articles? For these components, we set their meta info when we create menu items pointing to them.
If you go to the menu manager and click on the menu item (Home), you will see parameters on the right. See the last block of params (Parameters - System)
