<solved> Joomla: Locale TZ vs. Server time

    • Joomla question rather then RT, but hey, so many more clever people on this forum ;-)
I'm using someone else's component and mods, rather crude stuff, in a J1.0 env.
He uses date() and now() functions in mysql and php. My problem is that i'm hosted at bluehost, usa, but have a dutch site, using UTC+1 times in the component data.
There must be a joomla way to use the Time Offset in a component instead of the server time in the API?

Edit: Found mosConfig_offset, should do the trick....
