Afterburner j1.6 Logo Editing Help Please

Hi,
I have spent a lot of time trying to edit the logo in Afterburner j1.6. First, of all the tutorial on Logo Editing says to open the afb-sprite.png file...I don't see it in the Media Manager or anywhere else. I have opened all of the files on the server with File Manager and don't see that file. It also, says once you have editied the file to upload it and to rename it light.png, or light2.png, etc. So I created a new logo file, and I tried the uploading and renaming, and no logo appears in the template.??? Can anyone help me with this 1.6 problem? Many thanks.
