    Quasar parse error

    • Hello,
      Joomla v1.5 (latest build)
      physical path: public_html/joomla, is hosted on a university web server:

      OS: SunOS 5.1; build date Feb 2005
      Server API: Apache 2.0
      Php: 4.3.1

      I installed Gantry for J1.5, and Afterburner with no issues.

      Howeve Quasar gives this error when I try to edit the template parameters in the admin back end:

      Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in
      [my URL]/public_html/joomla/components/com_gantry/admin/elements/gantry.php on line 51
      also,
      The parameter file /templates/rt_quasar_j15/params.ini is writable!

      Does anyone have thoughts on the issue?

    • Upgrade your PHP version to at least 5.3.
    • Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.
