missing social media icons

  • missing social media icons

    • I know this is probably easy, but I'm missing the FB, Twitter, etc icons at the bottom. Where should they be and how do I activate?

      btw - Tried adding...
      <span class="rt-grey rt-mini-icon icon-facebook"></span>
      <span class="rt-grey rt-mini-icon icon-twitter"></span>
      <span class="rt-grey rt-mini-icon icon-google-plus"></span>
      <span class="rt-grey rt-mini-icon icon-rss"></span>
To the module manually, but that didn't work. Thanks, and forgive my ignorance.

    • If you are referring to the icons included in the most recent templates, developers are using Font Awesome icons.

This has some info about them: www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=78...02477&rb_v=viewtopic

    • I'm probably missing something, cause if I add the code using the Inspection tool in Chrome, the icons pop-up no problem. When I attempt to adjust the "Demo Information" module, the code disappears after I hit save.

    • Switch the editor you're using to 'None' or to HTML/code mode. Then paste the code in and save.

    • I'm not sure why the "Toggle Editor" button won't allow the code (except that it does all sort of strange things like that), but Editor - none seems to work:

      And RokPad seems to work:

    • RokPad worked. Thanks for the tip. Any gotchas I (we) should know about using it?

    • RokPad is most like a typical desktop editor. It can highlight syntax, custom themes, and key shortcuts. It doesn't have any WYSIWYG view or mode.

I don't use WYSIWYG anymore because of it can have unexpected results like we've already seen in this thread. If you still want a WYSIWYG editor you can just use RokPad in these types of situations.

    • Hi there. I'm missing the Social Buttons on my website and I believe that the link posted above is the right one for me... but unfortunately I do not have the permission to see the page.. is there another explanation or FAQ or something for this topic?
