Have searched everywhere, and anywhere but can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the custom google analytics code that someone else added to the site.
It's not where it should be in the template / template manager. Even went into the PHP and HTML, couldn't find it there.. Checked to see if a plugin could have been the cause.. Nope.. none there.. Unless.. could one have left a ghost code after deleted?
Can anyone help me figure out this mystery? Please
thanks
km.
Igor,
yah, i tried, but that someone else - from India, has conveniently disappeared about a year ago, when he was supposed to update a program on the site.. He managed to remove it.. but never put it back on.. even as the update.. By the time I recognized what he had done, it was too late to even get a backup and get it restored.
It's so mysterious, like a plugin had added it - - but checked all plugins, and nothing.. site is hirecentrix.com - the google code is custom which also suggests that it may not be a plugin.
Thanks for all the assistance here.. I do appreciate it.
Thanks Igor, sent it to Reggie last night.. really appreciate the help. Been managing this site on my own for a while now, after the Nightmare I had been through and it's been quite a learning curve.. but interesting.
