    SOLVED Afterburner2 and multi language

Posted 11 years 3 months ago
    • Dear Rockettheme forum,

I have a problem with multi language feature and Afterburner2.(running on Joomla 2.5.17).
Please look at the url: http://www.riolobb.it
The main language is the italian and now I'm preparing english contents.
But as you can see, even if the multilanguage funtion looks ok (I've followed Joomla procedure), the menu (it should be in "topb" position) and a RokSprocket module (it should be in "headera" position) are not displyed.

Maybe is it connected to the Afterburner2 template options ?
It is required to select a menu.
Now I've selected the italian menu
This is the only menu that looks ok
If I select the uk menu or the virtual one (corresponding to all languages) nothing appears

Regarding the Rok Sprocket module there's no way
It is not displyed on uk home page, even if I've selected only on this page.

If anybody can help me, I would be grateful to send him login credentials by private message

Thank you in advance for your time and trouble
      Stefano

    • 1. you hadn't set up the language template override with their respective menus and assignments ( I have now done this).

      2. the module was not assigned to the english pages (i have now done this). But... you would normally have one english version of the module and one italian version of the module and assign them only to their respective language menus items?

      Anyway... it's working now...

This might also help you better understand... http://www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=18&t=176550&rb_v=viewtopic
