    • Another issue with RokSprocket v2.1.1

      I can no longer change content providers inside RokSprocket. What's going on?, do we have another way of changing this now?

    • Thank you for clarifying that. Though most of us searching this thread are looking for a solution. It doesn't feel quite as good to be handed an explaination that basically states "We don't do that anymore and you'll really like resetting up all your settings anytime you wish to change layout or provider source.
      Seems strange to me because the update was addressing complaints that sometimes you loose your setting when you change your layout and have to re-input them and the solution assures it.

    • honweb - the change was made for performance reasons. When you could change provider and type before you lost the content anyway so nothing has changed there, Again, when you changed type before, you also lost all the settings on the items in the roksprocket so again nothing has changed there either. So, the change wasn't made to make things difficult, it was aimed at improving the performance of roksprocket in the admin backend which it has done.

      Additionally, when roksprocket 2.1.0 was introduced, it did have some bugs that caused some content to disappear, these were addressed by releasing v2.1.1 .

      I hope that clarifies things for you.
