    Roksprocket Slideshow loader

Posted 11 years 3 weeks ago
    • Greetings,

Is there a preloader for the Slideshow module similar to that for the Rokbox and Strips?

My slideshow works really well, but since the images are large, it takes a few seconds and it would be nice to have little preloader like on strips or Rokbox.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

      Thanks!

    • There is no such thing I am afraid. Why don't you try to optimize your images instead? That would be much better solution since that would give your website much better user feeling

    • Thanks Igor, I agree with you about optimizing the images. But until the first image loads, what looks bad is that the titles of all the "slides" show up piled onto each other. Just wanted to avoid that.

    • When you optimize your images, that first image will load faster also so you won't have this bad effect

    • I experience this problem and continue after image optimization.

Is there a way to load it completely before showing any of it? Seems like an oversight to not have a load graphic?
