RokSprocket Failed to Fully Install

Just installed RokSprocket v 2.1.1. Joomla report that everything installed fine however nothing shows in modules list nor components.
Under Extension Manager the following are showen as installed. Content -
RokInjectModule
RokCommon
RokSprocket
RokSprocket Module
System - RokCommon
System - RokSprocket
All the files seem to be installed on the server but the extension never got registered fully in the database. Nothing is showing in the admin for this extension. Is there a fix?

Ok, while trying to troubleshoot this myself I changed various folder permissions and reinstalled a few times hoping the installation script would fix things. It didn't. Given the extension wasn't working I thought it best to uninstall it. This was a mistake. The uninstall corrupted my database and brought my site down. Luckily, I did a backup prior to installing RokSprocket and was able to restore to a good point. The extension sound promising however I can't get a look at it to know.
I would really like some advice on how to fix this issue or how to get an older working version.
