I am trying to migrate from 2/5/19 to 3.2.3. Trying to uninstall MissionControl ressults in a white page.
I have changed the admin template
I tried then to uninstall the MS template - result was a white page
Read on the forum about the plugin System - MissionControl Support. When I disable it, I get the white page. I can fix the problem by going into the database and resetting the enabled value to 1, however that is not a solution as I need to remove MC before migrating.
Set error reporting in Joomla global configuration to the maximum level so you can see the actual PHP error message that is hidden behind that white page
I get this message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JToolBar::setToolBar() in /Users/neilmcguire/Sites/allright/administrator/templates/rt_missioncontrol/lib/rtcore.class.php on line 245
I would recommend you to remove MC manually by disabling it's plugins through the DB and deleting MC files by hand. That is what I would do in the situation like this
I have it uninstalled, however how can I be sure that all the database entries have been removed as well? I edited that tables and deleted what I thought should be deleted, but MC seems to be very intrusive.
thanks
If you are migrating from Joomla 2.5 then it really doesn't matter because you will migrate only selected content. If you are upgrading from J2.5 to J3 then you will have to check installation files from MC to see what kind of changes it initially does to the DB tables and remove such changes manually from the DB tables
