I'm having a RokGallery problem ; which I cannot find a solution to in the forums. When uploading (files of any size) I get this error in red text:
(26.49 KB) An error occured: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1665 Cannot execute statement: impossible to write to binary log since BINLOG_FORMAT = STATEMENT and at least one table uses a storage engine limited to row-based logging. InnoDB is limited to row-logging when transaction isolation level is READ COMMITTED or READ UNCOMMITTED.
My hosting company consists of a bunch of third rate techs, that can barely find the on/off buttons on their PCs. What do I need to ask them to do? Change BINLOG_FORMAT to MIXED instead of STATEMENT ?
Yes, I have a solution and the solution is to contact your hosting support. We can't fix server issues and that needs to be addressed by a hosting company
Well, you aren't even telling me what I need to discuss with them to fix the problem. So that leaves me at quite a fork in the road with using Rockettheme for (anything) in the future.
This is really not related to the RocketTheme at all. You really need to separate server issues from RT issues
You need to provide that error to the hosting support and they should know from the error message what they need to do. I can't do the job instead of them.
