Roksprocket displaying expired Joomla articles

Hi,
We have Roksprocket 2.1.2 on a Joomla 3.3.6 site, running in "headlines" mode. It's displaying articles even though they've expired - any ideas?

I tried installing a plugin to auto-archive expired announcements, but Roksprocket is still displaying them even though they're now expired and archived

I found a workaround in case others are interested - I installed an autoarchive plugin (found in the JED) and added a Roksprocket filter to only display published articles. The filter doesn't stop expired articles from appearing, but at least it prevents archived ones from displaying.
