RokSprocket not animated in ie8

  • RokSprocket not animated in ie8

    • I have a slider working on all the other browsers, except ie8 (we don't bother with <ie8). Neither the autoplay nor the arrow keys work.

      My info is in the secure section. I'm hoping I can get this resolved. All the other pages work (even on pages with static javascript).

      Unfortunately, it’s not a surprise that InterNot Deplorer, even in its most recent version, still does not support the majority of the properties and features introduced in CSS3, including animations,

      You should Google for CSS3 fallback methods when using IE.

    • Okay, I checked out the RokSprocket demo site on Browserstack in ie8, and, yes, the slide animation doesn't work there either. However, the arrows do. I'd be happy if I could get the prev/next arrows to work.

      So I tried our January template Hadron in IE8 and the buttons worked fine. I would contact template provider JooStrap and see if they can help you out.

    • I think it is a conflict with mootools (even tho jquery noconflict is running). Anyway, I'd love to implement Bootstrap v3, but Joomla 3.x doesn't currently support it out of the box.

      That's NOT an accurate statement. Bootstrap consists of CSS-LESS-JS files and your template provider Joostrap as well as ThemeForest are using some levels of Bootstrap v3 in their newer templates. Their reasoning probably is if you don't like how BootStrap styles your content you can override it.
