URGENT: RokGallery suspicious BUGS, help please, thanks

I am using RokGallery in my site, I have been struggling with the rokgallery I used in the site:
1. It doesn't work in Chrome, which wasted me lots of time before I found out;
2. The adding images to gallery is driving me nut and I am still hanging here: sometime it works, and now just stop working, here is the details:

I have already successfully created some galleries before, I need to add more images to existing gallery as well as to create new galleries for new images, so what i did is:
in rokgallery, I uploaded the images, I selected them, tag them, I verified the images are properly tagged; I then proceed to click on the galleries button, here is the problem:
1. I tried select an existing gallery, give it the right tag and click on publish, save, and then I proceed to verify the gallery using the filter, no images show up;
2. I tried to create new gallery and click new based on, I set tag and click on publish, save,and then I proceed to verify the gallery using the filter, no images show up;
Why I said there could be bugs in it? If I select multiple images say 3 images, the message will say I selected a much bigger number of images selected. I have less than 200 images and it says I have 1000+ images.
For example, I just checked again, the message says: 243 files selected (select all)/18 of 41 files showing/160 Files Total
wouldn't this message confusing people? total files are 160, why it says 243 files selected?
tagging is ok, I only want to create the gallery based on the tag at this moment.
Can anyone help me please?
