SOLVED Next and Prev Icons Missing

Posted 9 years 9 months ago
    • Hello again...

I'm using the Afterburner 2 template in a simple, one article blog. At the bottom of each article the Next and Prev Icons are missing. I'm not sure if that's an Afterburner issue or a Joomla issue. Any help is appreciated.

    • In the Afterburner2 template those arrows are generated by this "content: "\f053";" but this plugin plugin=arktypography is overriding that to "content: "\e008";".
So try disabling that plugin and see if the default arrows.

    • It took a little digging, but I did find the Plugin and disabling did restore the arrows. What I don't know is what will be the effect of that long term. Maybe the Ark Editor isn't the way for me to go. I've used JCE for many years and like the design of Ark, so wanted to try it. Any thoughts?

Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you very much for your help.

I used to use JCE but as I became more experienced with HTML coding I really didn't need the Preview feature of JCE.
I need an editor that can:

      1) help me write complex HTML code structures
      2) help me easily spot unmatched tags I inadvertently created
      3) beautify my code (thats just me though - I'm a neat freak)

For all of the above reasons I use only RokPad
