Bonjour,
I installed a rokajaxsearch module on Joomla! 3.4.5, with salient template. I just need to change language fom english into french.
I copied the file "fr-FR.mod_rokajaxsearch.ini" to the language folder, but it doesn't work. Does anyone have an idea?

presumably you've set the Language in the RokAjaxSearch Module to French? When you say you "copied" the file... what steps did you take exactly? Did you change the values in the file to French?
You can also just create Overrides in the Joomla Language Manager... - SEARCH the forum first! These boards are rich in knowledge and vast in topics. This includes searching just the 'Solved' forums, using Google, and using ChatGPT

Hi.
I put first the file in this folder:
monsite/modules/mod_rokajaxsearch/fr-FR.mod_rokajaxsearch.ini
This didn't work,
then I tried :
monsite/language/fr-FR/fr-FR.mod_rokajaxsearch.ini
Does not work either.
And when I try to override the words, for example VIEWALL with "Afficher tous les résultats", thre is no change.

When you hover over the Contstant for ViewAll is it pathed to your RokAjaxSearch language file? Are you overriding the correct constant?
Be sure and clear your cache after that... better to design with the Joomla cache disabled until it's live - SEARCH the forum first! These boards are rich in knowledge and vast in topics. This includes searching just the 'Solved' forums, using Google, and using ChatGPT

Yes, when I hover the constant, it shows the right path. The cache is disabled too.

I won't pretend to be a Joomla Language expert... but I believe since your site is default to FR you need to create the Override under FR... I did that and it's working currently... I also set the Module itself to French
