    SOLVED quasar rocket launcher installation - loop

    Posted 8 years 6 months ago
    • Hello,

      I uploaded the rocketlauncher files for Quasar/Joomla 3.6 and started the installation steps.
      When I get to the final step, it just loops and never progresses. The pre-installation checks are all clear with exception to error reporting. I read that this shouldn't matter but, added a php.ini to disable error logging and increase memory limit to 128M.

      Server info;
      Apache Version 2.4.18
      PHP Version 5.6.24
      MySQL Version 10.1.17-MariaDB
      Architecture x86_64
      Operating System linux

      kind regards,
      Anthony

    • This will be because you have "display_errors = on" in your php.ini file (this is shown as an amber warning on the installation screens). So change "display_errors" to "off" and it will complete.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Thank you. That worked. I had added a php.ini myself to the root directory. It was not being recoginized though. I contacted support from my host and asked them to help, and they responded with;

      we have pointed the account to a local php.ini that has the following:

      error_reporting = Off

      After that, it loaded fine. thank you again.
