Gantry Framework in JMS Multisite Environment

Posted 15 years 2 months ago
    • Hi there,

Very interested in the Gantry Framework. However, this Framework is not compatible to Joomla Multisite ( www.jms2win.com ) environment.

Pls refer to www.jms2win.com/forum/25-extensions-comp...ks-v20-template#3229 for my discussion with the author of Joomla Multisite.

As mentioned in thread above, is it possible to include the MULTISITES_ID define in the computation of all the files you store on the disk to make it specific to each slave websites.

If interested, pls contact the author of Joomla Multisite directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Otherwise, all users of JMS multisite would have to give up Gantry Framework in future.

      Many thank.

      Seth

    • Hello,

Sorry at this time we cannot accommodate customizations for 3rd party systems/forks of Joomla!

This would add extra load to our current testing matrix which is already increasing due to Joomla! 1.6.

      Cheers

    • Thanks Seth for pointing this out, guess my dream of a multi network community using RT free template is dead and buried for good, glad I've researched this now and not after the purchase of Joomla Multisite even though J! Multi bend over backwards to find a solution to other integrations with other Joomla components, oh well thought Joomla was not restricted by progression to new concepts! Guess I was totally wrong.

      Thanks
