- I had the same problem. Upgrading my Cache Cleaner Version to 1.4 solved the problem!

I am having the same problem, with a totally clean install. There are no 3rd party anything installed. If I try to edit the template, I get a text page and no controllers. I looked in Safari's error log and it says there is an "internal server error".
Please help

Same problem here. Just joined RT Joomla Club two days ago, downloaded latest gantry bundle (3.1.4) and omnicron 1.5.2 and installed both on my joomla 1.5.21 site. Gantry toggles do not work and i don't have any 3rd party cache cleaners installed. I can't use my new templates at all and i don't have any previous versions of Gantry to roll back to....Please Help!!

Until we can find a resolution to your issue you can always find older Gantry versions on googlecode:

- for folks STILL having problems, the only real way we can debug/fix your issue at this time is to actually log on to your test install and see what's going on. If you can PM us a test admin account that will be the best option. Cheers.

So i went through all the steps listed in the post above to no avail and then i decided to disable plugins one by one until i found the problem, which took forever.
It turned out to be the Powermail 4 Joomla Cron plugin.
After locating the culprit i googled a fix and immediately ran across this thread. Wish i had found this sooner.

Thanks Andy for offering in yuor post to have a direct look - Am sending you login details by PM.... I've just got a brand new server, unpacked a back-up of J1.5.23 - Then run jUpgrade to get it to J1.6.1 - and then installed Tachyon 1.6.... Done nothing else at all, and the back-end template sliders just don't work

this topic is actually about gantry 3.1.x, if you're using joomla 1.6, then you'll need gantry 3.2.
just a note here about the jupgrade plugin. we've used joomla installs that had been converted from 1.5.23 to 1.6.1 installs to test our 1.6 templates and extensions and we've come across a lot of issues that just would not be real issues when tested on a default joomla 1.6.1 installation, it might be more work to convert a site manually at this point but probably it will save you some troubles anyways.
could you try a default j1.6.1 install and install tachyon there, just to make sure it's not your server setup itself?

Hi Kat - Thanks for quick response... and sorry for posting in wrong thread....
I have now tried a default 1.6.1 install and then Tachyon install.... and it works fine.... so looks like you're right and the jUpgrade is adding in some problems....
So I'll go ahead and try to 'upgrade' my 1.5.23 to a clean install of 1.6.1 - Wow that's going to be stressy - but I think you're right - long term it might just be the best thing to do.....
