    • Hello

I am tryng to use Email Cloaking on a gantry 5 website, but it does not seam to work.

Is this a bug or is there something I need to do to get it working?

      Cheers -Dave.

    • email cloaking will only work on modules and articles - it does not work on Gantry 5 particles.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Hey Mark

I was hoping it would be you that saw my post as I had noticed you had mentioned it in the past on Github.

I have a email address in a joomla module at the foot of this site > www.bedandbreakfast-skye.com/

As as far as I can see the cloaking is not working.

      Any ideas??

      Cheers. - Dave.

    • There's no email address to cloak there if you mean the one at the bottom of the page. the link is actually going to /contact which would be the bit that got cloaked if it were a "mailto:" instead.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Hey

Yeah I have just changed it back to a standard mailto: and I still don't think it is working.

      Cheers.

    • I just tried this locally on a clean Joomla 3 installation using protostar and it doesn't work on that either. You might like to try the same too.

There are also third-party extensions available on JED that might be better too.

      Regards, Mark.
