Where do I find style sheets classes / definitions

  • Where do I find style sheets classes / definitions

    • Hello

I am new to Gantry so it is very much a beginners question. I would like to know where I can find the CSS classes. For instance I can see under particles default the class g-logo and g-tothetop. But where can I find the others?

      Thanks for your help, Marijke

    • Those are the class names of the particles on the layout - you don't really need to be aware of those since they're added automatically by the particles themselves. To learn the classes that you do need to be awar eof look on the "block variations" page of the template demo. Also, look at the documentation pages associated with the template too on the RT site.

Most of the templates are actually written in SCSS (SASS) - but you really don't need to be aware of the origin of the files to be able to use the template. Learn to use either, the Inspector in Firefox, Chrome Developer Tools in Chrome, or one of the other browser developer tools, they will save you hours on things like this and it's much easier to use them to find the CSS statements that you want to change.

      Regards, Mark.
