Modify a particle

  • Modify a particle

    • Hello,

I am building a new site with Citadel.
I have a few questions about my page studiosoekha.be/index.php/team
The particle is infolist but there isn't an option for inserting an image. Would it be possible to modify this particle? Is it also possible to display a text when hovering over the image or an effect?
Is it better to use another particle for displaying my team?
On the second box (Sam De Troyer) the ribbon is going above the text. Could I do a modify for changing the margin-right of this text?

      Thanks!
      Stef

    • if your want to modify a particle then you have to create a particle override to alter the TWIG and YAML code.

To learn how to override a particle in Gantry 5 please see our documentation here http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/tutorials/overriding-particle-settings#overriding-particle-source-files .

    • Hi,

I switched to using the block particle. Is there a way of getting the image in between the text and linkbutton? Or is it much easier by using pictures in the same dimensions?

You can see the example at studiosoekha.be/index.php/team

      Thanks.

    • You again need to create a particle override and alter the TWIG code if you want to do that to rearrange the structure of the html elements.
