I set up the Zephyr template and noticed the Template manager does not open. just a blank white page?

You've got server issues. Open a browser window and check your many Unwritable folders -> Admin -> Help -> System Info -> Directory Permissions -> .
Then open another window and go to Admin -> Help -> System Info -> PHP Information -> .
