Possible to have choice of horizontal or vertical moomenu?

Looking at the "change this variable" section of the index.php file on the new template I notice that there is no longer a place to change your choice between a horizontal and vertical menu. Is it not an option if you are using the moomenu to have it vertical on the left side like normally default on a template? I currently am using the swmenu module to give my site a suckerfish style popout dropdown menu, but I seem to be having a problem with my site hanging because of the menu. So I was thinking about trying the moomenu instead to see if that would fix the hanging problem or not, so that I would know if it's the coding of the menu or just the size of the menu causing the problem. However, while looking for the vertical or horizontal variable option for the moomenu, I noticed that varialbe was not there. So is it not possible?

I also notice that you still have below mispelled. "Change this variable blow to switch color-schemes" You must be reusing this line, because it ALWAYS says blow!LOL - Last Edit: 17 years 11 months ago by William E Dooley.

OK, this new moo menu has been out for a few weeks now, has anyone figured out how to set it up as a vertical menu on a website? I am having a lot of troubles with my suckerfish menu and was wanting to try this moo menu to see if it will be any better.

Heya, me again.
The moo menu isn't a module, it's some custom java script written by Andy.
I just checked the code, and it looks encrypted which means it cannot be edited in any way.
So if Andy wants to release the code, I want a vertical one also, so I will hack it. Otherwise, no such luck.
Send Andy a PM and ask him if he will release the code.

i don't think he will..
in another thread he mentions not wanting it to get copied by other template clubs!

I can understand that.
I will just have to make my own, once I work out exactly how suckerfish menus work.... -

So how would it work? Would you have to tilt your head and then turn your mouse sideways to click?
