Hello
I am having problems embedding the facebook like box or the youtube video on my site. The code that these sites generates disappears after i hit the update button.
Can someone please help.

- The easiest way I have found to do this is: go to your User Manager and click on yourself (admin), where is says "User Editor" choose "Editor - No Editor", now go to your Module Manager and add the code. After you have added and saved your code you can go back to the User Manager and choose your preferred editor again.

For others who may read this thread. It is possible to add code and not have it stripped out by using a free extension called Sourcerer .

For Joomla 1.6, I needed to use "editor none" AND make a change in the article options,
Article manager > options > text filters > super users > no filter
before the code would remain in my module custom html code.
