  • Gantry version compatibility

    • Currently I use Dominion template and want to switch to Panacea. Once I install I get error
      Warning: require_once(/var/www/html/kencast.com/libraries/joomla/html/parameter/element/html.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/kencast.com/components/com_gantry/admin/elements/chain.php on line 41

      Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/var/www/html/kencast.com/libraries/joomla/html/parameter/element/html.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/html/kencast.com/components/com_gantry/admin/elements/chain.php on line 41

      I guess I might have old gantry version. My question is if I update my Gantry, would that mess up my Dominion?

    • I don't think there should be any problem. I have never had any issues when upgrading Gantry.

      But you should always backup your site before trying though. Use Akeeba Backup :)

    • Go here: code.google.com/p/gantry-framework/downloads/list and download Gantry Framework for Joomla 3.1.8 if you use Joomla 1.5.22.

      Uninstall > Components > Gantry

      Then install the new Gantry the same way you install templates, extensions etc.
