How to create a New User Registration Page

Im new to the whole Joomla thing, but now that Ive been introduced to it I can see how I lived without it. I have a simple question (or so I hope). Whenever I create a Joomla site I can find the Log In module simple enough. The problem becomes where do I go to find a module or page for the New User Registration? For some reason I just cant find it. Is this a module, a page, an extension.......? Help!

- If it matters Im using the Reaction template. I just found out it comes with no New User Registration page. How the heck are you supposed to get users to sign up with no New User Registration page? Can anyone help?

I am looking for the same thing. I need to add art and copy to the registration page. But, I can't find it. I found the login page easily. And yes, allow user registration = YES. Where is the registration page?

The RT templates use the standard Joomla registration form, so this is a case of hacking or modifying the core Joomla component vs. modifying a template feature.
You have two options:
A) Modifying the Joomla core functionality... there are plenty of threads concerning this on joomla.org
or
Using a 3rd party component that will allow you to customize the form, adding text, images, etc. as you like.
If you search joomla.org for 'customize registration page' you should get plenty of hist to get you started, for example,
