I am going to have a simple site that will have to change depending on the state (MO, KS, ect.). What will change is basically the background & theme colors, banner logos and possibly other minor adjustments. All the info, the menu, pictures, videos, etc. will stay the same.
They will each have their own subdomain as well.
www.SITENAME.com/MO
for example.
Now my question is, will I need to upload Joomla! and the template I'm choosing for each subdomain? If so, I'm assuming I'll have to add a database for each of those as well.
If this is not the case, or even if it is, does anyone have any thoughts or advice to keep this as simple as possible?
I certainly appreciate anyone's thoughts and opinions.

you may want to just create 50 presets in the backend of the template and assign each a menu assignment instead of all that code you would have to do using a subdomain and installing each sepeartly also just make the menu a rok nav menu nad it will look sweet!!!
I've never used a preset before. Would I assume I would need to make 50 menus (according to state) and assign the preset (specific State variation) to each one? If so, that makes sense. When I create a custom preset, does it make a new directory in the presets so I can change out the logo or anything else necessary?
Now my next question is, how would I create the 50 different "Home" pages for each state, hiding all of them from each other?
Basically the state's website will link to its corresponding page on my site and then back to it.
