Posted 14 years 1 month ago
• Hi,

I would like to have the rokstories inside an article. I know i use {loadposition xxx}.
I would like to acheive the following, if someone could guide me

1. module of rokstories to float left inside the article
2. unable to set the image size. it just appear as original size.
3. be able to manually select jpg rather than by catergory.
4. i may have more than 1article that need rokstories. do i just duplicate the moducle?

Thanks

• Hi there,

The main goal of rokstories is to show several articles from a category by enabling previews that click through to the articles.

Placing rokstories within an article could be confusing. Especially as you are asking about choosing specific jpgs. You make it seem more like a slideshow than an article previewer.

1 ) Place your {loadposition xxx} bewteen
and
and use editor to left align.
2 ) Depending on template and rokstories settings, these will determine what is being displayed.
3 ) By article category not pictures
4 ) Yes - but you may have problems if you try to use it more than once on the same page.

Hope this helps 8)

• Hi David,

Thank you for your advise. Seems that i could have bought the wrong product.
What i wanted to acheive, is display a larger image inside an article and have some
thumbnail of other picture. When click on the thumbnails, the larger image is change
to the thumbnail images.

What product should i be using than?

Thanks

• Hi there,

What you are describing is more of a gallery type extension. Perhaps something like this demo - simple gallery ?

There are many options shown in the extensions directory at Joomla.
