    • I'm sorry Peter, I don't understand your query, could you elaborate?

      Cheers!

    • Is it possible to put a module over an image?

      It is.

A module with a transparent background, and a high enough z index placed over an image with a lower z-index would do it.

Would probably need to position them both absolutely though. Could use my ezeelogo module to position the pic (or css) and then I (you) could make a hack of my modulizer to allow absolute positioning (I had plans to do this anyway eventually). or again, do it with css, by putting a module position inside a div and then position that div.

Hmmmm or, I (or you) could hack my modulizer module to give it a 'background image' parameter, then if entered it would put the image as the background to the div which encapsulates the module. Or via css with an encapsualting div.

The top method would allow for different sized images and modules, the second method would probably crop the image to match the module size.

    • I must be doing something wrong cause whatever I try either the module gets pushed under the image (1) or next to image (2) but not over the image, the site is local don’t have a live URL but I’ll try to show it with an image.

    • Wouldn't an image that you broke up into sectors and placed urls on be better?

I forget the official term for doing it.

But basically what is done for the Style selector on colormatic and V3. A singe image, multiple links on different parts.
I think there is even a tutorial about it on the demo for one of those two.

    • Yeah wouldn't an image map work in a custom module?

      Cheers!

It would if I know how to, my template base is Rokwebify, so I am trying to modify that template to get the look I want instead of creating from scratch which I don't know how.

    • Look on the demo site or google 'Image map' (that was the term I was looking for)

I remember reading about it when I first took a (very brief) look at HTML about 6 years ago. It seemed dead easy at the time, so I am pretty sure it isn't too hard.

Like I said, go and look at the V3 and Colormatic tutorials I am sure there is one there for it with how to make the style switcher.

On a side note, I never noticed before, but there is an alarming similarity between your Avatars photos Peter and Roland. If you (peter) put on a pair of sunglasses and stood outside in some wind, I couldn't tell the difference. ;)
