    Infuse RokScroller Title Order

Posted 14 years 1 month ago
    • I purchased this theme and need to set the RokScroller to show the images by Title in ASC order not DESC order. There are no settings in this code to change from DESC to ASC - I want them to show up alphabetically starting with the letter "A" but it is reversed starting with the letter "Z". See your attached code for reference.

      Thank you.

    • Can someone please help me with this. Your scroller is not showing up in ascending order. It's backwards. How do I fix this?

    • Why isn't this feature customizeable to show ascending order? Can someone answer this question please. I cannot purchase any more products until I can get this question answered.

    • It would seem prudent that if you want people to buy your product and/or renew their subscriptions that you would attempt to answer ALL questions and not just those that are posted by those who have paid. I had a paid membership and because of slow response, I decided not to renew, but I have no motivation to renew now even more. Your product doesn't work... it's not my fault it doesn't work... whoever created it created it incorrectly. It's only right that you would provide a product that works correctly since I already paid for it. This plugin does NOT sort ASC or DESC as it should.

    • Agreed. I was very close to renewing an old subscription. But after seeing that Rockettheme no longer supports their templates, I decided this was not the company for me. I don't expect hand holding through every issue, but I also don't expect a company to drop support to those who pay for it. 2 weeks w/o help is just absurd. I've seen threads here that have yet to be answered that are months old. It's no way to run a business.

    • This is the "General Discussion" area of the forum. If you need template specific help, you may subscribe to the proper club and post in those forum areas. That is a perk to the subscription, the members area of the forum.

Please don't post comments on support here when your membership is not even current and you're asking for free help on a paid subscription area topic.

    • Not trying to split hairs here, but you purchased a membership to a club (which allows you access to the template specific forums the duration of your membership, along with access to the download area for that club with the ability to D/L any or all of the templates) not a specific template as noted in the TOS.

Even with the most basic WP subscription (I assume it's WP you are talking about from viewing your attachment), you have 90 days to install a / the template, get it configured, and as as many questions as you like.

Did this problem not exist while you were active or did it take longer than 90 days for the problem to appear?

I am not a WP moderator, so really I can't help you out on this. But one thing that I can tell you for sure is that the various moderators from the various clubs usually do not look here for for support related issues because this is not the place to post for specific club / template support...

      www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=15&t=4239&rb_v=viewtopic

Perhaps one of the WP guys might in fact be gracious enough to reply to your post, offering a suggestion, a solution, or even telling you what you are looking for is not possible, but again, most of us are not looking for unresolved template / club specific here.

It's unfortunate that you are unsatisfied and choose not to renew but I figured since you've been bumping your own post since 4/2, you should receive some sort of reply.

All the templates are supported very well, but you have not been a member for a long time now and therefore cannot see the support forums in the subscriber area.

    • Well, I assumed that the level of support in General was indicative of what may be found elsewhere. Perhaps I was wrong. But I don't understand why there is an inconsistency. Aren't prospective subscribers valuable? If so, why not just say "Sorry, your subscription has expired for that template so we cannot offer continued support for it. If you renew however, we'll try to assist you immediately" ?

Instead, such posts for help go ignored? What about sales questions? Are those addressed or is there a more specific area to ask those sort of questions?

I'm glad that I was incorrect about the level of template support (I will take your word for it), but it's a bit scary that posts in the public forum where everyone who registers can see...just don't carry much value to the RT team (and thus, go unanswered for 2 weeks and at times, months). Surely you can see how that creates a reservation about subscribing if one expects a certain level of support, no?

    • There is a larger focus on the subscriber area for support where as template specific questions in the fee area get overlooked. There are a couple reasons for that...

Pirated products are all over and those that chose to download bad, outdated, or infected copies of a template will post here for support and demand that we support it.

The second reason is that there is an "unanswered" queue that moderators can check and as soon as a reply is made, the post is dropped from that queue. This means that "bumping" a topic actually takes you out of the queue. We troll the forums for all topics, but the "unanswered" queue does get a lot of attention so that we can leave as few posts unanswered as possible.

As for support from RocketTheme in general...

Have a look at the dedicated team and moderators of RocketTheme:
      http://www.rockettheme.com/the-team

Nobody else in the business has this.

For a General Discussion question that lands in more of the "free" open information realm, here's an answer I posted today. It took some time to pull together the files and create this, but I feel it's a fairly detailed response to a general question:
      http://www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=15&t=128677&rb_v=viewtopic#p644357

We do as much as we can to answer everything that comes through and I sincerely doubt you'll find a level of support that even comes close to RocketTheme anywere out there.
