Separate Pages for Unique Users

I have a Joomla website site set up and working, I would like now to add a client login area. The idea being that when a user used a specific user name they would be directed to their own specific page, from there they would be able to see articles about that project.
Also to restrict the login so someone not logged in cant directly access the URL without permission.
I have had a look at several Modules and plug-ins can anyone suggest a way of doing this for several different users?
It doesn't even have to be a user log-in page. What if there was just a text field where you entered a password and depending what you entered, it would take you to a specific page?
I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts and/or ideas... - Thanks.

For instance, there is a text box within an article or module...
If you entered 123456, it would take you to www.test.com/123456
If you entered 578896, it would take you to www.test.com/578896
If you entered an unauthorized number, it would either give you an error, or redirect you to a page stating you entered a wrong number and to try again.
All this redirection would come from one page... - Thanks.
