  • Problem with Rocket Launcher

    • I installed MAMP on my mac, added a database and placed the RocketLauncher for Infuse in the htdocs folder and proceeded with the install. I get to the Data Configuration page and enter the login, password, etc and the name of the database and on the following screen this is what I get:

      What does this mean? I was able to install the regular Joomla 1.5 after this as a test to be sure my settings are correct and that worked, but I really want to use the RocketLauncher to save a lot of work to get the site to look correct.

    • In php 5.3.x "TYPE=MyISAM" MySQL syntax is deprecated, instead it uses "ENGINE=MyISAM".
      So follow these 4 steps:
      1. Open the file JOOMLA\installation\sql\mysql\joomla.sql
      2. Find all occuerences of TYPE=MyISAM
      3. Replace with ENGINE=MyISAM
      4. Save the file and try to install again
