    • Hi,
I was a full member of rockettheme for two times. Usually the template update available even after your subscription.
Is it true for the update from Joomla 1.5 templates to Joomla 1.6 templates?

I am updating my site to 1.6. It would be very nice if you could let me get the joomla 1.6 versions of my templates.

      Thanks!

    • I'm cusious about this too, as I've only had Crystaline for 2 months, would suck if I had to pay another $60 for the bug fix.

      Not true.

When you sign up for 60, 180, or 365 days, you have complete access to the DL area and the forums for the club you've subscribed to.

In that period of time you have 60, 180, or 365 days to ask question, or DL updates as they become available.

      All explained here:

      www.rockettheme.com/legal/terms.php ?

The J1.6 template is an entirely different template. If you want it, it requires a current subscription to DL.

Bugs? Is it a legitimate bug? Crystalline has been around since 3/2010 I think all the 'bugs' have been worked out by now.

If you have what you feel is a legitimate bug, something that prevents the template, either with the RL version, Bundle, or Stand Alone, from functioning properly, please post here... (with a link to a live site in this thread, or at least some screen shots). If it is legitimate, I will report it to the team.

      You miss the point...

When I got it, it worked with 1.5. It doesn't work with 1.6. You guys fixed it a couple weeks AFTER my membership expired. So now I have to pay again for the fix that works with 1.6, because Rockettheme didn't have the fix when I was a memeber? (March-May)

The only reason I became a member was for this theme.

    • J1.5 and J1.6 templates are completely different.

If the J1.6 version was released after your subscription expired, yes, you have resubscribe to download it.
    • Thanks,

    • Wow, I feel ripped off. And don't link to the TOS, it's just bad business IMHO.

I guess if you had bought a car and the manufacturer released a newer model you would expect them to upgrade your car too? Perhaps you would expect Apple to give all iPhone4 users an iPhone5 when they are released later this year. Would that be bad business too?

You purchased a membership as JEM explained and that came with very generous terms & conditions, to which you agreed when you made your purchase. As a template club our members get great value for money for as long as their subscription is valid. To retain that value requires renewal of membership. It is your choice whether or not to renew your membership as it is your choice to decide how you feel when you no longer have a valid membership.
