    • Nice addition to templates would be a admin side module to allow tweaking of template variables that we currently do with the hand edits to index.php.
Replicant - July 07 template is a good example of this where this type of admin edit would be a great add-on.
A additional plus to that would be the ability to do this be section etc of site.

Replicant has many vars - imagine this wrapped up in a admin screen with color pickers, image selectors etc.
I always get a kick out of the spelling error in this: "Change this variable blow to" hehe

Wow, that is an outstanding idea.

      Music integration would be awesome.

This would be great, especially something like an easily skinnable flash music player

    • * A more flexible Most Recent Articles module that would allow us to choose multiple categories or sections, exclude a given number of stories, and have more control over the formatting of what is displayed (Headlines-only -- truncated headline -- headline + excerpt -- headline + intro text, etc.).

      * A module which would make the manual selection of recommended stories easier -- maybe searching by hits, keywords, or categories. Select the desired stories, and they appear. Cooler: select 20 stories, have it choose 5 at random.

      * A truly random Newsflash module which keeps track of IP addresses. If you see story #125 today, you won't see it next time the page loads.

      * A well-engineered module which integrates directly with OpenAds. Should be module class aware. I'd start using it tomorrow. ;-)

This module with the addition of thumbnails to achieve the look of "The Vortex Demo Top Box Office Module"

There is a module called "Section Thumbnails" that I use, but it is old, clunky and un-supported.

It would have this wav file play in background when selecting option.
"This site will self destruct in 5 seconds..."

    • I've actually two requests, both demonstrated on other websites.
the first is the bulletin module as shown here: demotemplates.joomlashack.com/vintage/
the second is an advanced sort of roklatest as you can see on the apple-itunes site: www.apple.com/itunes/

it would be fantastic to see this implemented in a rocket-site

    • Isn't the bulletin module the control panel? But either way, a modulised version would be awesome 8)

I like your second request as well. Maybe added transition variants for RokLatest :)

    • I already made a module like the bulletin module. :P

It's called modulehider. I had a rough version working on toonla (down now though), and you can see one here www.thenotchmusic.net

on the login. If you put it in a position that covers the entire width of the template it will do the bulletin thing.
